Cardiovascular disease affects heart and its vascular system, i.e., arteries and veins in their function; and the causative factors may include diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperhomocysteinemia and hypercholesterolemia.

In ischemic cardiopathy, the quantity of blood being supplied to the organs gets reduced.

Hypertensive cardiopathy caused by high blood pressure comprises left ventricular hypertrophy, coronary cardiopathy, congestive heart failure, hypertensive cardiomyopathy and cardiac arrhythmias.

Primary hypertension or high blood pressure afflicting 90% to 95% of patients is idiopathic, i.e., no medical cause can be assigned to it as well as medical science knows of no definitive cure of the condition.

Secondary hypertension or high blood pressure afflicting 5% to 10% of patients is known to be generated by pathological conditions affecting kidneys, arteries, heart, or endocrine system and is best curable by curing the underlying causative factor in the very first place.

In my chakra healing practice, I have treated countless patients of spondylitis, neck and shoulder pain. As they join my workshop, I can see the lines of pain on their faces that their aching shoulders and necks have drawn on them in an almost permanent way.

What I got was an eye-opening insight that all theses chronic headaches including migraine headaches, sinus headache and tension headache were basically the continuous muscle contractions in the two jaw muscles namely temporalis and lateral pterygoid maintained for long durations of time mostly while asleep.

The temporalis muscle which is the strongest muscle in the body capable of crushing the hardest eatables you can imagine of is there to close the jaw in order to chew with molar teeth. People often tend to keep it contracted through unconscious jaw clenching, especially almost all through the night while asleep, generating the basic tendency for any precipitating causes to trigger an onset of either a tension headache or various different kinds of migraine headaches during the day. It all comes from the way they habitually keep their jaw line postured with a poor alignment between the upper and the lower jaws. When the third eye chakra and the crown chakra are opened, the jaw line automatically postures itself right, creating an air-gap between the upper and the lower canines and molars on both the sides so that no more jaw clenching is possible; while the frontal teeth are slightly touching each other in a uniform plane between the upper and the lower jaws. This gives an additional advantage of a protective jaw-opening-reflex named Nociceptive Trigeminal Inhibition Reflex in the medical terminology which suppresses the temporalis muscles from contracting too hard without any real need to do so.

The way I had kept my jaw line habitually postured in a distorted way was the kind that only generated myopia without ever generating any headache all through my life, before I treated my own vision by chakra healing through opening chakras, never needing any headache relief for the obvious reason of never having got a headache as such!

The lateral pterygoid muscles which attach at the top of the jaw bones, just in front of the ear canals, and insert at the walls of the sinuses are responsible for what is called teeth grinding or bruxing, clenching jaws at one side as opposed to both the sides done by temporalis. Thus grinding is simply a dynamic form of jaw clenching which alone never produces a headache as long as it is not combined with jaw clenching along. As the episode of stress turns long term; the contraction in the said muscle group goes subconsciously habitual, blinding us to its pathological uneasiness that it afflicts our body with by giving in to mild forms of fibrosis, limiting its efficacy in a serious manner.

The center is here. The center is now.

The moment it (if) went interested, it would immediately go empty. It would no more remain blank. It would stop making all the noise. It would instantaneously get centrally fixated in the center of the action going on right now, here.

It would stop making noise with all the thoughts either of the past, or of the future.

What is happening right now doesn’t require any past or future thought in order to perceive it full.

What it requires is the process of thinking supported with all the knowledge from the storehouse of the past memories, not in an emotional way but rather technically so.

Thinking and thought are two different entities.

A blank mind is lost in its thoughts making all the noise on earth.

An empty mind is a still mind that THINKS without THOUGHTS.

But, what you will find in the name of chakra meditation in almost all the popular readings on the topic is simply slogan mongering borrowed from the ancient scriptures without really experiencing what is written there and why.

You will find all the weird kinds of chants, color imaginations, symbol visualizations, aura-viewing, crystal healing ending up in selling chakra jewelry, audio music and tones, and all the unnatural body postures along with forceful breathing techniques with the names of ‘mudras’, ‘bandhs’ and various different kinds of ‘pranayama’ promising opening this one or that of yours in the name of chakra meditation they suggest you to do.

They are either telling cock and bull stories or else using a cannon for something that only required aiming with a small gun at it!

Take it from me (if you will), it only adds to the noise of the mind that it is already making, deafening the listening faculty of your brain.

Nothing from outside can help you open your chakras. You have to open them all from within.

The persons who are offering these feel-good maneuvers have neither been there nor done that, themselves. I came to know of it only after my personal interaction with lot many of them.

In fact, the very physical process of opening them in itself is the most challenging chakra meditation that you need keeping doing all the 24 hours of the day (as opposed to a few minutes of the popular feel-good maneuvers), making it a way of life that you live through every single moment of it.

The eyebrows moved up at their outer corners now.

It was seventh chakra, crown chakra aka Sahasrara in Sanskrit; ready to dissolve itself by aligning the side-wise portions of the two jaws with each other by both of them moving up and down in order to get properly aligned.

While moving the eyebrows up at their outer corners, the new postural maneuver had to maintain the space between them raised up too; that was done while opening the third eye chakra.

While aligning jaws in their width, I found it was very essential to ascertain that the central portion of the two jaws didn’t lose their alignment that it had achieved as the third eye chakra had gone dissolved.

As it happened so, the two lips widened out like they do when they kiss a sexual partner with full passion and total love for him or her. They also went tight on the denture in its total width covering both sides as well as the center of it.

The sides of the upper jaw went up and backward whereas the sides of the lower jaw went down and forward. This was exactly what had happened at their center with the dissolution of the third eye chakra, which was to be maintained now as the next chakra was in the process of dissolving itself.

The protrusions over the upper gum directly above the canine teeth tended to go wider at their lower extremities on both sides, which they had done with their upper extremities in case of the third eye chakra and which was to be maintained now when the new dissolution was in progress.

The temporomandibular joints on both sides tended to shift sideways as well. Again this was in addition to their shifting upwards in the case of the third eye opening, which was to be maintained as it was.

The entire face turned wide and full. And the best thing was that it had kept its longish sleekness intact that it had achieved with the opening of the third eye.

It all started with the human species standing on its twos from its fours in the process of evolution.

Standing on twos was challenging the gravity to a much greater extent than it was when our evolutionary ancestors stood on their fours.

There are two ways in which the eyeballs distort their structure and spoil their function, i.e., the eyesight.

The first way turns the eyeballs elongated, which is what the cause of myopia, i.e., the nearsightedness is. It is a direct consequence of dropping the upper jaw down as its habitual posture, covering the lower jaw with its denture from above.

But why does the upper jaw do so?

The answer to this question takes us to one of the mind body connections.

Keeping the eyebrows frowned or squeezed whether out of anger or out of anxiety does it so.

The mind affecting the body!

And if mind can affect the body, the body can affect the mind too!!

It’s rightly said that the eyes are the windows to the mind!!!

The second way turns the eyeballs flattened as opposed to elongated, which is what the basic cause of hyperopia, i.e., the farsightedness; as well as of presbyopia, i.e., the old age sight afflicting almost every single person (the one not having myopia) on earth is!

It is a direct consequence of dropping the lower jaw further down along with pulling it backward, thus placing it under the upper jaw which is already dropped down through being pulled down along with the lower jaw.

It’s a very complex distortion!

What brings it to effect?

Again, the answer to this question takes us to another of the mind body connections.

Greed, as an antithesis to fear, does it to us; though the two, the thesis and the antithesis, are in fact the two sides of the same coin!

The eyebrows get pulled down from their sides at their outer extremities.

And again, if mind can affect the body, the body can affect the mind too!!

If eyes are the windows to the mind, the mind is a window to the functioning of eyes as well!!!

The space between my two eyebrows moved up now.

It was sixth chakra, third eye chakra aka Ajna chakra (pronounced Aagya) in Sanskrit; ready to dissolve itself by aligning the central portion of the two jaws with each other by both of them moving up and down in order to get properly aligned.

As it happened so, the two lips narrowed in like they do when they kiss a kid which is different from sexually kissing an adult.

The central part of the upper jaw went up and backward whereas the central part of the lower jaw went down and forward.

The protrusions over the upper gum directly above the canine teeth tended to go wider at their upper extremities on both sides.

The temporomandibular joints on both sides tended to shift a little up as well.

The entire face turned longish and sleek.

It dawned upon me later after I opened my crown chakra that all these changes were not the final postural destinations that our face had to undergo and settle down in.

They were rather a temporary camp on the way to ultimately open the crown chakra while keeping the chakra in question open. If it’s not opened before between the two eyebrows, you just cannot open the crown ever in a proper way.

The scapulae either get stretched or else contracted in a distorted way.

They exert their pull on the neck also which gets distorted in another ugly way turning into a stiff neck that is so common a phenomenon all across humanity on the planet.

The backbone takes up the shape of an inverted arch bending the torso down toward the pull of gravity!

The jaws are pulled down too, distorting their alignment with each other.

All this gets reduced to turn into an unnatural body posture, which we start taking to be a natural phenomenon.

If everyone is insane around, the sane will be taken to mental asylum!

We turn old in our youth, never realizing what we have done to ourselves!

The anatomy and physiology of the throat chakra aka Vishuddha are associated with those of the endocrine system.

The endocrine system is an interdependent system of endocrine glands, which secrete various different hormones in the bloodstream keeping the body function in an optimally balanced way.

There are seven of these glands producing chemicals called hormones. Many of them form combinative axes signaling one another in sequence.

Typical endocrine glands are the pituitary gland, thyroid gland, and adrenal gland. Others are named pineal gland, pancreas, ovaries, and testes. Also thymus is an important gland regulating immune system, though it is not endocrine in its function.

The pituitary gland secretes hormones regulating homeostasis, including tropic hormones that stimulate other glands in the body.

The pineal gland produces the hormone named serotonin derivative melatonin. Serotonin derivative melatonin is a hormone controlling the modulation of wake/sleep patterns of the body and also its seasonal functions.

The thyroid gland produces thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). This is the main gland that is directly in touch with the throat chakra. No, the protruded stomach was not popping out as a big belly or a fat tummy as the abdomen had got so tightly tucked that it was looking a perfect flat tummy, giving a beautiful shape to the lower torso as far as body figure was concerned.

The protruded stomach would go in and out with every single exhale and inhale of breath in the lungs. The breathing had gone much smoother as well as fuller than before. The lungs would automatically take more air in and throw more air out, in a much better and more natural way that any Pranayama would ever be able to do.

The entire abdominopelvic cavity had undergone an intensive as well as an extensive toning all along its length and breadth. No curling up of the stomach over the abdomen anymore!

If done right, this maneuver alone was sufficient enough to take care of all the belly fat that people spend thousands of dollars to melt or burn with so many costly programs all the world over.

What it did the next was giving me an additional perception of further opening up my urethra, which proved itself right as I further increased my frequency of urinating through the day. I came to realize that I had been keeping my urinary bladder unnecessarily filled up with urine without even sensing its pressure for quite long durations of time before. Now I had started getting an urge to empty my bladder in around every 45 minutes, making me go for urinating around 20 times a day as opposed to only 6 or 7 times before.

I had started feeling much lighter in my abdominal and the pelvic areas now as I was turning more sensitive in those parts of my body.

And for certain could I hold much more of sexual energy in my body for much longer durations of time, increasing my sexual urge, sexual potency and sexual performance to a real considerable extent!

In fact the two – the anatomy and physiology – are always symbiotic to each other in any and every organ or system in the body.

If they are postured rightly, they will work rightly too.

Conversely, if they are not working right, their positions will get displaced as their shapes will go distorted too.

The two getting affected by each other make it into a vicious circle that in normal circumstances is never able to come out of its own viciousness on its own.

The only way out is re-posturing the organs in a conscious way, making this conscious awareness the very first nature of the body in the due course of time.

That was what happened with my root chakra aka Muladhara chakra as I re-postured it right.

My urinating frequency increased significantly undoing the debilitating effect my childhood toilet training could (or would) have on my kidneys ever in life. In fact keeping the pressure habitually mounted in the urinary bladder counts for almost all the troubles that kidneys face in our life. Only if the humanity opens its root chakra aka Muladhara chakra alone, it can save all its trouble of falling victim to the epidemic of kidney problems for good.

My defecation became much easier and much more natural. I was overjoyed to realize having discovered the best (in fact, the only) cure for constipation that afflicts a major chunk of humanity with all the trouble it faces in passing its stool in the morning keeping the toilets occupied for long durations of time, along with inviting a major number of all the debilitating lifestyle diseases.

My digestive system underwent a major uplift too, resulting in an increased appetite along with a feeling of lightness in my abdominal area below the belly button as well as it getting shaped in the most beautiful way over there.

It also partially affected my sexual urge but it was more so in conjunction with dissolving my next chakra along, i.e., sacral chakra located a little above the root; hence I will be describing this effect later when I describe the same in one of my next posts.

I came to sense my root chakra, called Muladhara chakra in Sanskrit, getting dissolved around my pelvic area and in my lower back exactly at coccyx, the pointed base of the spine.

It felt like some muscular tension was getting released in the entire area that stayed covered under the panties keeping it contracted in a very complex way.

As it released itself from its self-imposed contraction, I not only sensed a splurge of relief but also a surge of energetic thrill enveloping the entire area.

The different body parts in the area had, in a postural way, reorganized themselves in relation to one another.

The anus sensed being opened up like it does while defecating; and as it did so, the total butt got pushed back in a real significant way widening itself in the process as well.

It was exactly like when we pull out back during sexual intercourse while we are pushing in and pulling out whether as a male or as a female.

The pelvis got pushed back too; as the lower portion of the spine, a little above the first inward curve of the coccyx, came out of its habitual inward curve to an outward one turning the shape of the lower back from convex to concave.

The thrust of my butt, while sitting on a chair, completely shifted its location on my pelvis from its near-anus end to its near-urethra end. The hips were no more touching the seat, rather only the under-sides of the thighs were!

Also the lower abdomen including the pubic area had got pushed back imparting a beautiful shape to the area below the belly button.

It was feeling to me being a posture of readiness for the sake of taking immediate action in order to preserve the biological existence through sensing the environment in its acutest details.

But the beauty was that the same readiness was imparting the best relaxation to my body as well!

And the most important of all was the sensing of a surge of energetic thrill going active in my pelvic area as my root chakra aka Muladhara chakra dissolved itself loosening its muscular contractions over there.

Was it chakra balancing or was I dissolving something in my body?

No, I was not balancing anything at all!

I know I am speaking against an established norm that this discipline has been following since ages past. But has this norm ever clarified itself crystal clear to the minds of the masses? Why does it keep itself so esoteric?

Or is it that people don’t really understand what the whole thing called chakra balancing is really all about?

I do doubt so. And I did doubt so when I started searching for the real concrete meaning of the whole thing but just could not make any real sense of what I came across through what all was available to be studied in the topics concerning the entire discipline of it.

Everything that I put my hands on was a pathetic repetition of one another in the petty spirit of ‘you scratch my back, I scratch yours’. The same old wine that the scriptures had brewed once was being served in new bottles time and again… and again… and again.

So ultimately I had to lean back to my own personal resources, which were (1) my first accidental experience on December 12, 2004 and (2) my research oriented sensitivity to whatever was happening inside my own body and mind as I was going on taking the said experience to its extremes in all the parts of my body wherever it was being affected by it.

What all were the parts of my body that were being affected by it and in which way were they doing so?

I was not balancing anything; I was rather dissolving many things!

Kundalini awakening through kundalini yoga was nothing else but dissolving chakras alone, I learned.

As my body jumped into a new postural state, temporarily dissolving all the seven of them through the length and breadth of it on December 12, 2004; I immediately sensed a surge of energy rising up through my torso toward my head. And the next moment, as my body jumped out of its new postural state, the surge stopped moving upward too.

Later when I read all about chakras, kundalini yoga and kundalini awakening, I immediately was able to link up the relation between all the three of them.

There was no strenuous yoga to be done, there was no awakening needed. It was already awake. It was logical also. How could energy be dormant? It never is! It could only be blocked on the path of its movement. And that is what it was!

It was only that the rigidified chakras were not letting the energy move from where it entered into the body up toward the head on its path of rotation through the body leaving it on the crown of its head and re-entering the base of the spine, thus completing its rotational circuit.

This circuit was being broken through getting blocked by the muscular rigidities along the path of energy through the body. As my body jumped into the new state that day, it had gone stretched, in an incomprehensible way to me, at various different points along its length as well as its breadth. It had kind of opened up and out at those particular points, so much of it as had never happened to me ever before.

Chakras have something to do with energy.

It is kundalini energy – the energy oneness – which keeps rotating through the body in order to keep us alive. The smoother the rotation, the more lively we are, and the higher is the energy level at which we live our life and perform our actions.

Chakras simply turn the path of this energy, which keeps continuously passing through the body, from a straight line to a rotating whirl at their locations in which it viciously gets trapped and is not able to move further easily.

Only a small part of it is somehow able to avoid the trap and move further on its way in order to keep us alive, though at a seriously low energy level.

In such a scenario, which is a common scene with almost the entire humanity having lost its energy oneness, the kundalini energy is said to keep lying dormant at the base of the spine, somehow trickling just the minimal energy on to its path of rotation that keeps us alive at a minimal energy level.

People, without having their firsthand experience, interpreted chakras as nodes of energy; thus perpetuating a belief in the common masses that they are the storehouses of energy in the body.

I sensed their location and presence in my own body, which told me in no ambiguous words that their very presence was hindering the flow of energy through my body.

And as I dissolved them one by one by one, the freed up flow of the kundalini energy through my body that I could very well sense rising toward my head, completed the final chapters of the entire discipline in a crystal clear language in my body as well as in my mind, which now very well knew what essentially was happening to my body.

What do chakras essentially mean?

Popular belief takes them to be the storehouses of energy oneness in the body.

Nothing can be farther from truth than this.

The word itself comes from the language Sanskrit and means a wheel or a circle, meaning thereby that energy which was meant to pass straight through the body is held up in a rotating or a viciously swirling motion when it reaches the location where a chakra lies established.

And there are seven of them in the body!

It gets obstructed at all of them to a very high degree.

Only a limited portion of this energy oneness is able to pass through the crown of the head in order to complete its flow, just like the flow of electricity in a wired system.

They act like resistance in the path of a smooth flow of energy through the body.

They are like the whirls in the linear flow of energy, like we find at places in the rivers obstructing the free, linear flow of water in them.

What on earth are they good for, then?

They certainly are! They are good to open through a process of dissolving them in the musculo-postural system of our body.

In my next blog post, I will be defining and describing chakras in terms of the musculo-postural system that has habitually gone distorted, not in one or two persons around, but in the entire humanity on the whole.

7 chakras, as they are being presented in front of the world as an esoteric package, are far from common sense apprehension, what to say of their comprehension as a discipline to follow.

In my opinion, it is so because the ones who are presenting, or say, representing them through copying their attributes from the ancient scriptures are not able to impart them a concrete modern language that everyone would be able to appreciate and experience in one’s own body.

Scriptures only give their codes without explaining them in a clear and concise language. Anywhere you search about chakras, you are not going to get anything else but the codes, being copied from one to the other and from the other to another…

Who knows about them as a firsthand experience and not merely a secondhand information, and that too a coded one? I doubt if many people do!

Who has that sense of been there done that while enumerating the benefits of the 7 chakras in their presentations whether in action or in ink? Again I doubt if many people do.

What I am bothered about is bringing this fascinating discipline out of its esoteric blur into the clear light of the real scientific knowledge. The discipline is so fascinating that doing so will not only enhance its approach to the common people around but also expand the dimensions of the language that the scientific knowledge is using at the moment.

A miracle is that science which has not been understood by the scientific discipline yet!
