Solar Plexus Chakra Blocking Free Energy Of Kundalini Flow

7 Chakras

When the free energy of Kundalini flow gets blocked by the solar plexus chakra at its location, it results in feeling suffocated both at the level of the body as well as at the level of the mind.

We forget how to let go. We start holding up tight everything that comes up in life.

As we are ourselves suffocated, we tend to suffocate every other thing or person that ever comes in contact with us.

We turn a little bit too much possessive as far as owning a thing is concerned.

When the openness of the body gets constricted, the mind goes narrow as well.

It does so at two levels. First the feelings go constricted, turning us less sensitive to the pains and pleasures of our fellow humans around; and we are left no more than narrow minded Shylocks in life.

Second, the thinking goes constricted, turning us less curious to the wonders of the world around; and we lose the basic human intelligence that we are gifted with, blocking the way of insight that we could have embraced in life.

The mind starts getting anxious, getting busy in building measures for safety and security against the worldly threats that are, supposedly, yet to come; rather than facing them, if they really are, here and now.

It gets obsessed with preparing for the future in the present, turns ambitious, and goes anxious.

Ambition starts replacing the joy of the moment!

Solar Plexus Chakra: Belly Fat, Lower Back Pain and Asthma

7 Chakras

Belly fat leading to obesity, lower back pain, and breathing problems including asthma symptoms are the lifestyle diseases that a closed solar plexus chakra is responsible for.

As far as obesity and belly fat are concerned; opening the solar plexus chakra just works wonders.

Same is true of the breathing problems including asthma symptoms.

But, of course, in the case of lower back pain, the results are not so straight forward which rather take a circuitous path to its cure.

First the maneuver tends to strengthen the muscles of the lower back since they acquire a state of perennial contraction for all the 24 hours, keeping the solar thoracic diaphragm up and back.

It’s not easy for them in the beginning. Just after an hour or so, they start ‘screaming’, desperately wanting to go back to their habitual state of stretch which they have been kept in for so long during all these years to date.

If we don’t give in to their screaming, they start paining. Of course this pain is not the same as the debilitating backache is; it’s rather the opposite of it that it has come to cure.

But still the pain is pain, which you have to tolerate for a short duration of a few days before the muscles gain enough strength to keep them contracted in this natural disposition of theirs.

Once it is done, it gets done for once and for all!

The maneuver opens up enough room for lungs to expand as they inhale air from the atmosphere; and the more air they inhale, the more they tend to exhale as well; the two parts being the two ends of the pendulum that the process of respiration is.

What remains to be cured is the tendency of the trachea to narrow itself as asthmatic attack approaches, which is further taken care by the throat chakra as and when it opens.

As the area above the belly button is let loose protruding it a little to the front, the area below it automatically gets squeezed for good, exerting a constant pressure on the fat there to gradually burn up and melt down along with toning the muscles in that area tight.

It’s basically continuous toning of the muscles that burns the fat over there.

In fact all the chronic illnesses in the body stem from the shortcomings in the physiology of the organs and the systems concerned, which in turn stem from faulty anatomy of the muscles in the areas concerned, continuously exerting wrong kinds of pressures on the organs in the said systems.

Anatomy and Physiology of Solar Plexus Chakra aka Manipura

7 Chakras

The anatomy and physiology of the solar plexus chakra aka Manipura are associated with those of the respiratory system.

As you dissolve your chakra, the pressure exerted over the lungs by a contracted thoracic diaphragm gets released, and they go free to inhale and exhale full. The respiration goes smoother and calmer.

As a result, the heart gets more supply of the purified blood and functions smoother too.

But it is not limited to that only. Their association extends to stomach as well. As the stomach releases its hold over abdomen, it comes on its own; bereft of any support it was taking from below.

I realized that in coming on its own, the stomach develops a sensitivity that tells it when to stop eating which it was less able to sense before.

As a result, overeating immediately comes to an end taking a naturally spontaneous care of the tendency to put on weight.

Once the stomach gets its signal, it just refuses to take in more to eat, since being on its own it starts feeling heavy if it gets overfilled.

What is true of overfilling is true of its being empty as well. The appetite tends to increase and stomach digests better than it used to do before. Hence ingestion improves too.

It proves to be a boon for the underweight people who tend to gain weight by the new posture that they have adopted for dissolving the chakra.

Also since the lower abdomen goes absolutely flat, it acts against the acquired lethargy of the large intestines and the rectum to keep the digested food held up inside, and thus cures constipation to a great extent.

Dissolving this chakra also pulls the muscles of the lower back out of their lethargy zone, thus strengthening the lower back and as a result making it much easier and smoother to walk, to bend down and lift heavy weight if and when a need arises so.

Solar Plexus Chakra aka Manipura: Anatomical Configuration

7 Chakras

The raised thoracic diaphragm started moving back now.

It was the third chakra, the solar plexus chakra called Manipura in Sanskrit; that was ready to dissolve itself with its backward motion taking the thoracic diaphragm horizontally back while maintaining its vertical height that it had gained while dissolving the sacral chakra just below it.

Again in this maneuver too, the care was to be taken that the hips would not push them forward; or else the entire maneuver would have gone distorted.

It wasn’t easy. The muscles supporting the lower back were contracted to their maximum in order to stretch the thoracic diaphragm, not only in its center which it had done while dissolving the sacral chakra; but in the middle of its sides, both left and right.

It was really not easy. The abdomen would really be tucked tight at the Hara while the stomach area above the belly button would protrude outside making room for the lungs to expand freely as much as they could.

No, the protruded stomach was not popping out as a big belly or a fat tummy as the abdomen had got so tightly tucked that it was looking a perfect flat tummy, giving a beautiful shape to the lower torso as far as body figure was concerned.

The protruded stomach would go in and out with every single exhale and inhale of breath in the lungs. The breathing had gone much smoother as well as fuller than before. The lungs would automatically take more air in and throw more air out, in a much better and more natural way that any Pranayama would ever be able to do.

The entire abdominopelvic cavity had undergone an intensive as well as an extensive toning all along its length and breadth. No curling up of the stomach over the abdomen anymore!

If done right, this maneuver alone was sufficient enough to take care of all the belly fat that people spend thousands of dollars to melt or burn with so many costly programs all the world over.

We shall talk about the effects of opening the third chakra, i.e., the solar plexus chakra or Manipura on the physiology of various different systems connected with the area of its location in our next blog post to come.
